Charlie’s clients span London, South East, the UAE, Hong Kong and across Europe. Lessons are often arranged during summer holidays, Easter, half-terms, Christmas, or when families are in seasonal residence. His pupils span the globe - from Buckinghamshire estates to one-to-one live Zoom lessons with young pupils in the Bahamas.
Each session is personalised — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and can be taught on acoustic or electric guitar.

Charlie Hodgson is a theory-trained, jazz-influenced guitarist with high quality musicianship and over 20 years of professional experience.
Taught from the age of eleven by a world-renowned session guitarist and teaching & performing since the age of sixteen, Charlie combines deep technical understanding with a naturally expressive, intuitive style. He’s known for building warm, respectful relationships with families and guiding pupils at all levels — from early beginners to advanced musicians.
His style blends structured learning with space for creativity, helping each pupil progress with clarity and enjoyment.

1. Priority Plans– Annual & Seasonal Plans
Charlie's most popular and cost-effective option. Most clients opt for long-term or seasonal plans, which offer savings, structure and guaranteed time in Charlie’s diary. Plans are limited in number to ensure a personalised experience for every pupil and household. Plans are billed in advance. Delivered in the comfort of your home. Travel is billed separately. 2. Pay-As-You-Go – £275/hr
PAYG model available to select clients. Ideal for short-term needs or trial sessions. Must be booked in advance. Delivered in the comfort of your home. Travel is billed separately.
Booking & Availability
Charlie accepts a limited number of clients per season to maintain quality and availability. Early enquiry is advised.
• Charlie teaches in homes across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Notting Hill, Belgravia, Mayfair, Ascot, London, Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Knightsbridge, St John’s Wood, Westminster, Battersea, Hammersmith, Richmond, Surrey, Berkshire, Cheshire, Kent, the UK and overseas. Charlie is available for overseas bookings upon request. Remote sessions are also available worldwide.
