A Musical Heritage, Refined
Expertly trained and mentored from the age of eleven by a globally recognised session guitarist, Charlie grew up immersed in professional music from day one. Under this elite guidance, he mastered quality level theory and performance — giving him the rare ability to interpret and perform complex material quickly and intuitively. By the age of sixteen, whilst performing live, Charlie was requested by a family to begin teaching guitar to their sons — and the rest was history.
His style, rooted in jazz and shaped by decades of professional experience, is expressive, intimate and emotionally intelligent. He’s performed to stadium-sized audiences, yet is most at home in elegant drawing rooms, luxury hospitality spaces, or candle-lit family occasions — where subtlety and atmosphere matter most.
Charlie is based in Hertfordshire and travels widely, working across:
London (Notting Hill, Chelsea, Fulham, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Mayfair, St John’s Wood, Westminster, Battersea, Hammersmith), Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Ascot, Richmond, Surrey, Berkshire, Cheshire, Kent and beyond — including international bookings. Remote sessions are available worldwide - Charlie has previously taught pupils everywhere from the Cotswolds to the Bahamas via remote one-to-one lessons.
Private Tuition
Alongside performance bookings, Charlie offers in-home private tuition for families seeking a more artistic, consistent and personalised approach to musical education.
He teaches pupils aged 6+ and works closely with families to create a calm, structured, and inspiring learning journey. Lessons are available across acoustic, electric and jazz styles — always centred around the pupil’s strengths, interests and pace.
His long-term clients often opt for annual or seasonal packages for simplicity, savings, and guaranteed access during peak times.

A Personal Note
Charlie lives in Hertfordshire with his partner, Hannah, and their rescue cat. When he’s not playing or teaching, you’ll find him walking through woodland trails, camping in the Brecon Beacons, or exploring his lifelong love of jazz over a strong coffee.
